About DailyClue

DailyClue is a small, fast puzzle website with three daily games: a five-letter word-guessing game (Five Letters), a one-letter-at-a-time word chain (Word Ladder) and CodeBreak, a four-digit code-breaker based on the old pencil-and-paper game Bulls and Cows. The tagline says it all: three games, every day.

What makes it different

How the daily puzzles are chosen

Each game has a fixed, shuffled schedule built from its puzzle list, so a puzzle does not come round again until every other puzzle in that list has been used. The schedule depends only on the date, never on how you played, and everyone sees the same puzzle on the same date. Because the games run in your browser, a technically skilled visitor could work out an answer from the page code; we ask players not to spoil it for others.

Who runs it

DailyClue is operated by P Sai Kalyan, based in India. You can reach us through dailyclue.games@gmail.com.

How the site is funded

DailyClue is free to play. To cover hosting and the time it takes to run, the site may show advertising from Google AdSense on some pages. Ads never change a game, a daily puzzle or your results. Our Privacy Policy explains what advertising partners may do and what anonymous usage statistics we collect.

How the site is made

The puzzles, page text, word lists and code of DailyClue were built with the help of AI tools (ChatGPT and Claude), then reviewed and edited by P Sai Kalyan. The word lists were compiled for this site and are not copied from any other puzzle site. DailyClue is an independent puzzle site and is not affiliated with any other game or publisher.
